Next, you’ll want to get an estimate before agreeing to have any work completed. The estimate should include the parts, labor and any possible services that may be needed to complete the task. If they do not mention it on the estimate, it should not be brought up later during the actual work causing you to have to pay more money. Ask them specifically how they deal with unexpected costs as they arise, such as damages from driving on ice, and whether or not you will be able to get a second opinion on them. When the work is finished, make sure your receipt lists everything that was done and/or replaced.
